Programming Administrative Assistant - Full-Time - Assist in the day to day operations of 101.5 The Music Place. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Answer all incoming calls and route to proper person

-Greet all visitors to the station, announce the arrival and route to the proper person

-Create and execute station promotions and events with guidance of Program Director

-Assist Director of Development in creation of proposals, sales material, and writing of commercial copy

-Computer input, logging and distribution of prizes and creation/maintenance of station web site contests

-Secretarial support for station employees

-Input events, concerts, promotions, contests, photos, and charity/client information on station website and social networking pages(Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)

-Commerical production and on-air presentation as required

-Enter all network orders, prepare copy instructions, and complete network affidavits

-Maintain account filing system for Director of Development and Market Manager

-Inventory supplies used by Roanoke office and communicate supplies needed to Business Manager

-Stamp and deposit outgoing mail. Distribute incoming mail to staff

Qualifications

Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, html(website maintenance,) Facebook, Twitter, YouTube. On-air presentation and commercial production talen. Able to learn how to use new software programs. Must be detail oriented, professional, and proficient in time management.

Community Relations - assist community organizations in interacting with 101.5 The Music Place. Solicit and schedule public service announcements and develop community outreach activities. Volunteer
